ZIMBABWE are through to the next ICC Womena��s World Twenty20 Global Qualifier tournament, scheduled forA� West Indies in 2018, after winning the Africa regional qualifier tournament that ended in Harare on Tuesday.
In their last match played on Tuesday morning Zimbabwe beat Kenya by 68 runs a�� making it five out of five wins in the tournament a�� to clinch the regiona��s sole ticket to the global event with a match to spare.
In their first match of the campaign played on 23 April, Zimbabwe got the better of Tanzania by nine wickets before they went on to beat Uganda by six wickets. In their third match that was staged at Alex Sports Club on 24 April, Zimbabwe beat Kenya by 50 runs. Tanzania were to become the fourth Zimbabwea��s victim as they fell to the hosts by nine wickets.
