THEREaS all to play for in the Central Region Division One League as the race for the Premier League title slowly comes to an end.
Wounded Gweru City who lost bragging rights to city rivals Midlands State University are set to date Vumbachikwe who are just above the relegation zone as they occupy tenth spot on the 14 team league.
Gweru City are not far from the table toppers MSU and Whawha who are both tied on 39 points each.
The Gweru side were handed their sixth defeat of the season by MSU who also completed a double over their counterparts. The ambitious side will look to pounce on Vumbachikwe and maintain pressure on the top two teams.
Gweru City come to the game as favourites judging by the way things have been unfolding and they are expected to win and maintain the third spot on the log but underestimating Vumbachikwe will be at the Cityas own peril.
In other matches, bottom placed Nkayi United will take on ZRP Beitbridge who are also in the hunt for a top place after managing a three nil win over another relegation threatened side Chomumvuri last week. FC Platinum Under 19 host army side Tongogara at Mandava Stadium.
Chrome 0-0 Whawha; MSU 2-1 Gweru City; Vumbachikwe 4-0 Nkayi; Tongogara 1-0 Silo; ZRP Beitbridge 3-0 Chemumvuri; Zvishavane Stars 0-3 F C Platinum.
