Temwanjira reaches double figures

BUSTLING ZPC Kariba forward David Temwanjira has became the first player in the Castle Larger Premier Soccer League to reach double figures this season as his second brace of the season secured maximum points for his new club ZPC Kariba against Triangle last weekend.

Temwanjira, who joined ZPC Kariba at mid-season, had scored nine goals while playing for Shabanie Mine in the first half of the season.

Lameck Nhamo gave Triangle a bit of hope eight minutes later when he scored from the penalty spot. It was his eighthA� goal of the season, his third goal from the spot and the 30th goal to be scored from the spot this season.

Temwanjira later completed his second brace of the season to secure his 11th goal this year. It turned out to be the 16th brace of the season overall.

The 2018 Castle Lager Golden Boot race is slowly taking shape with the likes of Chicken Inn duo of Obadiah Tarumbwa and Obrey Chirinda and Caps Uniteda��s John Zhuwawo in the mix.
