AN unmarried junior prophet with an apostolic sect failed to control his sexual desire and allegedly impregnated a teenage girl at his church.
Thabiso Ncube, a junior prophet with Izibonakaliso Apostolic sect which is based in Insuza, Matabeleland North is accused of taking advantage of his healing powers and allegedly impregnated a teenage girl.
Ncube was exposed when a teenage girl in question divulged the larger than life story to her mother.
After being told, the teenagera��s mother confronted Ncube who failed to give a satisfactory response leading to a heated argument.
Speaking to B-Metro the heartbroken mother confirmed the incident.
a�?After my daughter told me that Ncube had impregnated her, I confronted Ncube but he vehemently denied that he is responsible for the pregnancy. However, he said they were in love some time back and but did not indulge,a�? she said.
She said even if Ncube maintains his denial she was confident that he was responsible for the pregnancy as she once saw a text message from Ncube on her childa��s phone.
a�?Even if he denies I know he is responsible for the pregnancy. I saw a lot of love messagesA� in my daughtera��s phone. He was once cautioned over a similar issue and now he has done it again. He has used my child and dumped her like a chewing gum. He will see,a�? fumed the mother of the teenage girl.
When contacted for a comment, Ncube denied the allegations.
a�?I was once in love with her. I wanted to marry her but I discovered her fornication tendencies. Due to that we had to part ways. Now I am heading to South Africa and I am not coming back any time soon,a�? he said.
The teenage girl said Ncube enticed her into indulging in sexual activity after giving her money.
a�?He is lying. We were in love and we used to indulge a lot without protection. He had promised to marry me,a�? she said.
The teenage girl added: a�?When I went to his residence they told me that he left for South Africa and when I call his mobile number it is unreachable.a�?
Contacted for comment the bishop of the church, Mlamuli Moyo confirmed the incident.
a�?I received such a matter from the church elders and we are resolving it. We hope to reach a final decision as soon as possible,a�? said Moyo.
