FORMER Highlanders and FC Platinum midfielder Welcome a?Waroowaa? Ndiweni has joined Southern Region Division One Club, Tsholotsho FC on a six months contract, B- Metro Sport has learnt.

a?I recently signed for Tsholotsho FC . I have been inactive for the past six months. I certainly need game time before I decide on my next move,a? said the ginger haired footballer who turned out for Harare City last season.

Ndiweni (29) is a great playmaker who played alongside Caps UnitedasA industrious midfielder Joel a?Josta a?at Bosso and Platinum.

Ndiweni left Highlanders for Masvingo United at the end of the 2010 season after the club then under Mkhuphali Masuku decided not to renew his contract.

At the beginning of 2012 Ndiweni after a terrific season with Masvingo United was lured by FC Platinum and signed a two-year deal with the Zvishavane club, reuniting with his former Highlanders teammate and close friend Ngodzo.

Ndiweni retraced his steps to Highlanders at the end of 2013 following the expiry of his contract with FC Platinum.

The midfielder quit Bosso in 2015 citing lack of game time to join Bulawayo City.

Meanwhile, Bulawayo City head coach Amini Soma-Phiri who took over from Darlington Dodo at the beginning of May, has said the two-week league break will give him an opportunity to re-align the local authority owned side.

a?I have two weeks to take out some players and beef up the team. I have done my homework and I have no pressure at all, relegation is out,a? Soma-Phiri said.

The coach said he was looking to bringing in five new faces to the squad with sources saying he was targeting Highlandersa Denzel Khumalo and Division One side Zim Leopardsa Benson Phiri among others.
