The newly-established National Football Association of Zimbabwe (Nafaz), has taken another step in formalizing their existence by appointing heads of standing committees.
Nafaz was launched two weeks ago, replacing the Zifa in a massive rebranding exercise.
In a press statement, Nafaz president Philip Chiyangwa announced the new standing committee heads.
Chiyangwa who himself headed the referees committee in the old Zifa is now heading the emergency committee.
The referees committee is now led by Nafaz second vice president Peter Dube.
The associationa��s first vice president Omega Sibanda is in charge of three committees namely technical and development, high performance as well as the human resources.
Zifa board member finance Philimon Machana has retained his finance committee portfolio.
New Central Region chairman Stanley Chapeta has been assigned to head the futsal and beach soccer committees.
Two women are overseers of two committees as Beulah Musara and Elizabeth Langa have been apportioned the marketing and public relations as well as women football committees respectively.
Southern Region chairman Musa Mandaza will be responsible for the player status committee. – supersport.com
