Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela is set to reach a milestone in his tenure at the club when they face Polokwane City in an Absa Premiership clash this weekend.
Some 941 days since his appointment Komphela will take charge of his 100th competitive at Amakhosi since replacing Stuart Baxter at the start of the 2015/ 16 season.
Since his appointment on 17 June 2015, the former Maritzburg United mentor has led Chiefs through 76 league and 23 cup clashes, with an overall win percentage of just 42.
Included in the 99 matches thus far is also Chiefsa�� walk-over 3-0 victory over Volcan de Moroni, when the Comoros-based club failed to pitch for their second-leg Caf Champions League preliminary round fixture in February 2016.
Apart from reaching the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout finals a�� and falling short in both a�� in his first season at the helm, Komphela has little to show for his efforts, but says he is a better man than when he first arrived at The Glamour Boys.
