SIX schools are going to clash in the Zimbabwe Rugby Union (ZRU) womenas committee organised national girls rugby finals at Bulawayoas Hartsfield Rugby Ground.
Matabeleland provincial development officer, George a?Rolloa Mukorera said the schools have been split into two groupsA and will play in a round robin format before progressing to the finals.

a?Initially, we had wanted to have it (tournament) as a two-day event but due to the fact that we have few schools that are going to take part, it is now going be a one-day event,a? said Mukorera

Harareas Girls High, Amhlophe and Msiteli were drawn to play in Group A while Vinona, Northlea and Sobukazi will make up Pool B.

The girls games will precede a robin clash that will feature three National Rugby League clubs Western Panthers, Old Miltonians and Busters who are seeking to stay in shape ahead of the return of league action next weekend.

NRL teams have had a month plus a week long break.
