Fox FC ruling the roost in Five A side league

The Pensions Knitwear five-a-side Southern Region soccer league enters the second half this weekend with Fox FC threatening to run away with the title.
They have played 12 games and are still to taste defeat having drawn only two matches.

This week they beat their title rivals and second placed Nust in a closely contested match 7-6, before dismissing bottom side Fog Stars 6-2 with leading scorer Timothy Mawire grabbing four goals.

They now lead the log by eight points having amassed 32 points.

This weekend they are involved in another potentially explosive encounter as they clash with third placed Wangu Wangu who hope to keep the pressure on the league pacesetters.

Nust Academic Stars kept their title hopes alive as they recovered from a defeat by log leaders to thrash Amabhubesi FC 10-1

However, they now trail Fox FC by eight points. This weekend they entertain Fog Stars.

Wangu Wangu were walkover winners over Roma as the latter failed to turn up for their fixture.

In other matches set for this weekend Fog Stars take on Roma while Cowdray Park Eagles clash with Munyoro United.
