Chevrons fast bowler Michael Chinouya is enjoying cricket life across the Limpopo where he is taking part in the Johannesburg Lenasia Premier League (LPL).
Chinouya, a Midwest Rhinos fast bowler, is part of the Celestial Knights team that has already made it through to the second round of the one month long tourney.
Celestial Knights, progressed to the second round with a game to spare.
The league has six teams.
Chinouya believes his performance will go a long way in improving his game.
a�?Life at Knights has been brilliant. I have enjoyed my cricket here and I hope it will go a long way in improving my whole game. My team has already made it to the second round and I have made a couple of meaningful contributions for the team,a�? he said.
The tournament is set to end mid-September and Chinouya will be back in Zimbabwe where he hopes to make a mark for the Midwest Rhinos team.
Chinouya is the only Zimbabwean-based player in the tournament.
Other South Africa-based Zimbabweans taking part in the tournament include Tanaka Chavanga, Titus Chipere, Kundai Mutigiu, Vincent Herold and Thabani Moyo.
Chinouya did not make it into the Zim A squad that travelled to SA for a series of matches and hopes the tournament will improve his game.
