PAIN, anguish and despair is the story that Highlanders will at this point need to get rid of by all means.

Mathematically and judging by their recent performance, the Bulawayo giants are staring at relegation.

If other relegation haunted clubs like Triangle and Black Rhinos rise to the occasion and collect maximum points and in their remaining games while Bosso continue their head long fall, that will be a sad reality.

Bosso are on 39 points, Triangle and Black Rhinos are tied on 31 points, meaning if they manage to collect nine points, and other clubs who are in the middle of the table manage to take their points tally above 39, Bosso might be in serious trouble. The idea of Highlanders fighting relegation might sound far-fetched, but who would have ever imagined them going for the whole month without winning a single game. They have lost five games on the run, which should be cause for serious concern to anyone who loves the club.

Eighth and ninth placed How Mine and Buffaloes are tied on 36 points while Harare City are on 34 points and are on position 10. Chapungu follow City with 33 points, one ahead of Shabanie Mine. Both teams are due to play Bosso in the last two games of the season. Bosso now desperately need to exorcise the ghost of suffering defeats week in, week out ahead of their Week 28 encounter against already relegated Chiredzi at Hartsfield Stadium on Monday. The match was moved from Sunday as the venue will host a rugby festival and musical show at the weekend.

If Mark Mathe and his men are still nursing any chances of a top four finish, they will have to beat Chiredzi and Chapungu at home and force a draw to Shabanie Mine away.

Dynamos who seem to be destined to clinch their fourth consecutive league title following their 5-3 triumph over Harare City have a seemingly easy encounter against Bantu Rovers at Rufaro Stadium.

Second placed ZPC Kariba who are also still in the reach to lift the trophy will also do battle at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday in a match that will beamed live on Supersport 9.

Third placed Caps United will travel to Mutate for date with Buffaloes at Sakubva Stadium while FC Platinum entertain inform Chicken Inn at Mandava Stadium.
