Sibhekisipho Fayayo
WHEN Bosso lock horns with Shabanie Mine this weekend there will be a moment of silence to honour the late Bosso fan, Thembinkosi a?Thembinatora? Hloli.
He was killed after the Bosso-DeMbare league match played at Babourfields stadium last Saturday in the post match violence. It isA alleged that he fell on gate spikes while running away from charging Dynamos fans near Renkini. But his family insists he was murdered, saying post mortem results indicate he was stabbed with a screw driver. Bosso coach Kelvin Kaindu told mourners the teamas next game will be dedicated to the late fan.

a?As Highlanders family we shall remember our departed brother by observing a moment of silence in our coming games,a? said Kaindu. Kaindu said the fateful day will remain a part of him as he is largely responsible for the loss during the match leading the death of a fan.

a?I probably take up much of the responsibility because its on the day we lost the match that we heard our beloved fan had been killed. I feel so much pain and it will remain part of me now and forever that the team I coach lost a match and not only did they lose the match but went on to lose the life of our brother.a?

More than five people were arrested over the death of Hloli and the violence that occured around the city.
