REIGNING Mr Bulawayo Lovemore Munyamana added another silverware to his cabinet when heA came fifth in the Light Weight Division at the recently held Arnold Classic South Africa.

HeldA at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, the Arnold Classic is a brainchild of legendary professional body-builder, cum actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He gracedA the three-day event that showcased 48 different sporting disciplines and eventsas featuring over 11as000 athletes from across the globe.A For Munyamana (ABOVE), it was his debut atA an international stage. What a way to announce his arrival to the big boys club?

a?It was my first time to contest on the international scene and I managed to come fifth. This accolade means I qualify for major bodybuilding contests around the world,a? he said.

Munyamana has trainer and manager Simon Gama of Bodyworks Gym and his family to thank.

a?My wife Evelyn Mubata has come in handy in my success. She monitored my diet and encouraged me to focus. Gama put me on a strict training schedule, training twice a day before the contest,a? he said.

Munyamana is also grateful for the kind gesture that was shown by director of Body Works Gym Nathan Greenland who chipped in with $350 for the Arnold Classic Africa entrance fee.

Meanwhile, National Federation of Zimbabwe Body Building and Fitness (NFZBBF) spokesperson Quite Shangai paid tribute to Team Zimbabwe.

a?I would like to thank Lovemore Munyamana, Garikai Mujuru, Regina Jonga and Precious Mujuru for scoopingA awards at the Arnold Classic South Africa. To those who did not win we say they must not lose faith as it was a learning curve,a? said Shangai.
