AS Highlanders and Dynamos clash this Sunday, it will be unfortunate that Lloyd a?Samaitaa? Mutasa will miss showing off his latest suit to the multitude of fans expected to throng Barbourfields Stadium.
The Dynamos coach was given suits that he is supposed to put on in every game.
Since last season, the gaffer has enjoyed brand new outfits and he was supposed to show off suit number 25 in the Battle of Zimbabwe Part Two, but due to national duty, he will be missed.
He will miss the league match as he will be on national duty with Warriors in the Sundayas 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier against Congo Brazzaville.
In an interview, Samaita feels he might have missed an opportunity with DeMbare fans in Bulawayo as BF is one of his favourite hunting grounds.
a?I would like to thank 4 May, my sponsors in terms of dress code. The same goes to NetOne. This is the first time to put on this one and this one comes with a win (against Bulawayo City). You then go back and say I think if you keep giving me then there are chances that we win,a? said the soft spoken gaffer.
He added: a?Every game I am accorded these suits and I am very much thankful to my sponsors 4 May. Itas unbelievable that one could get a sponsor who can afford to give out 34 suits per season. I do keep them, but as the season progresses I look at my wardrobe and pass others out. Itas a matter of replacing the others which are going out.a?
4 May also dresses Zimbabwe national cricket teams.
Mutasa is on record saying itas his love for Barcelona and the respect he is given by his players that saw him change his touchline dressing. He abandoned the tracksuits and is now into elegant suits.
a?I said to my family, the players call me Father and for them to see me like a true father I have to wear suits. My friends were also pushing me to change my attire. Besides, I am also inspired by the likes of Pep Guardiola and Luis Enriqueas style of dressing,a? Mutasa was recently quoted as saying.
